Caramel French Toast

1 16 oz. Marzetti® Old Fashioned Caramel Dip

2 cups milk

2 tsp. vanilla extract

1 medium sized loaf French bread, cut into 3⁄4“ slices

2 tsp. ground cinnamon

1⁄2 tsp. ground nutmeg

6 large eggs


Spread the Marzetti Old Fashioned Caramel Dip into bottom of a 9 X 13” baking dish. Arrange bread slices on top of caramel.

In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Pour mixture over bread. Cover and refrigerate several hours or overnight. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Bake on middle rack of oven, uncovered for about 45 minutes or until custard is set. Serve.
