Place an Oreo cookie in your muffin liner.
Add a spoonful of caramel on top of the Oreo.
Place another Oreo on top of the caramel.
Add a spoonful of caramel over the top of the second Oreo.
You can now pour your cupcake mix over the stacked Oreo cookies.
Bake as per cupcake recipe.
Let the cupcakes cool down and decorate.
